is Barnards Hill in Gill, probably best seen from Mt.
Hermon. Coming from West Gill, make a right onto North
Cross Road , then a left a quarter mile short of
Main Road to Dwights Home, the alumni office.
From that vantage point look across North Cross Road
to the Barnards Hill. Personal notes, my grandfather
owned Barnards Hill in the early 1900`s. I was working
for the road department when North Cross Road was
paved. And I can remember when the farmhouse at the
top of NCR was electrified, the last one in Gill at

I just read the Spotlight section of the view and would like to offer my suggestion of the High Ledges in Shelburne. The view of Shelburne Falls & Buckland during peak color is breathtaking.
