Dear
VV
I commend you on your efforts to bring much needed
comfort, soulful comfort, at this time of extreme
personal and national loss. We have not experienced such
a profound loss of life on our own soil since the War
Between the States. That it comes so close has left most
people lacking in descriptive words to capture their
feelings and understand in perspective what has
happened.
Why?
I think it is because we have trivialized our
descriptive language. The vocabulary of horror has
been overspent, thereby, devalued. Unfortunately,
we have not caught up with the momentous task before us,
and that is to rectify language, and manage rhetoric.
Yes.
I am horrified. I still find myself in a trance, gripped
to the last
nerve by the outrage and tragic loss.
Keep up your good work.
Peace and sanity
George Bluh
