Annual River Fest
— Growing in the Watershed Celebrating the Deerfield
River in Shelburne Falls. June 11, featuring Frog &
Flower parade (12:15 PM), musicians, street musicians,
puppets, community read, entertainers, nature games,
educational exhibits, trolley rides, quiet water raft
rides, arts & crafts - demonstrations and sales, and
store sales. Held in Shelburne Falls and Buckland.
Begins at 10:00 a.m.
Greenfield
Youth Festival
— At the Greenfield Energy Park located at the end of
Miles Street in Greenfield. June 11, Noon to 5:00 PM

Annual Classic Day in Greenfield
— Pioneer in the Valley, sponsored by the Greenfield
Business Association. June 18, music featuring
Cottonwood, crafts, food, car show, demos and more. Held
at the Greenfield Energy Park located at the end of
Miles Street in Greenfield. 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 PM

Western
Massachusetts Highland Games & Celtic Festival
— Activities include: entertainment, ethnic goods,
marching bands, children's games, heavy athletics,
highland dancing, bagpipes, workshops, and more. June 25
at Franklin County Fairgrounds located on Wisdom Way in
Greenfield. 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 PM Rain or shine.

Annual Old Deerfield Summer Craft Festival
— Featuring 200 craftspeople, held on the lawns of
Memorial Hall Museum located on Memorial Street in Old
Deerfield. June 25-26, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 PM

Annual Green River Festival
— Sponsored by the Franklin County Chamber of
Commerce. July 15-16, featuring musical entertainment,
crafts, kids' activities, and hot air balloon launches
(weather permitting). Held at Greenfield Community
College located on College Drive in Greenfield.

Air Balloon Launch
— July 17 Balloon launch of the Green River Festival.
Weather permitting. Balloon launch from the grounds of
Greenfield Community College located on College Drive in
Greenfield. Launch at approximately 6:00 a.m.

Annual
Yankee Doodle Days
– July 22-23, Charlemont's Hometown Fair Friday -
Square dancing, Fireworks with aerial and ground
displays only visible at fairgrounds. Saturday - Ox
Draw, kids' games, chicken BBQ, and Demolition Derby
(6:00 PM). Sunday - pancake breakfast, parade (noon),
firemen's muster, chicken BBQ, horse draw, tractor pull,
gymkhana, and demo derby (4:00 PM). All weekend: live
music, demonstrations, rides, food vendors and crafts.
Held at Charlemont Fairgrounds located on Route 8A North
in Charlemont.
